Rancho Seco nuclear station is located near Clay Station, which is outside of
Sacramento, Calif.. Rancho Seco nuclear station has one reactor. This one reactor
has a Capacity net kW(e) of 918,000. This reactor became active in 1975,
and ran from April 17, 1977 to June 1989. It was closed by public vote on
June 6th. 1989. As of 2005, decommissioning activities are underway.
